Next Vector Security is a for-profit corporation who provides Security and Privacy Plus, a customized installation of the open source Privoxy along with a simplified interface, support, and cloud threatlist updates.
The Privoxy Project is a separate entity that maintains and updates the source code for Privoxy on a wide variety of operating systems.
If you are donating to the Privoxy Project it would be best to donate via their donation pages since it is tax deductible in the United States (SPI) and Germany via their Paypal (privoxy@zwiebelfreunde.de)
Both organizations accept feature requests and FUNDED feature requests are also helpful. If you are interested in adding a feature to either Security and Privacy Plus/cloud system or Privoxy’s source code, please contact us directly via email.
